‘Changes are fresher than new ones.’
My design philosophy is rooted in the belief that a small change to a familiar object can bring more freshness and joy than something entirely new. The stool, an everyday object, is slightly altered so that it no longer fulfills its expected function. By disrupting expectation, the piece shows how even the smallest alteration can reframe our experience of daily life.
